Photo of Jimmy goes hereI've been coaching for five years, between high school, the community, RLCS players and individuals alike.
I've worked with Bronze players who have just started, and with GC2s who have thousands of hours of experience and play in RLCS. Every one of them needed something different, and that's the point.
I've also been a team's mental coach, helping guide players through the mental battlefield: tips and tricks to control emotions mid-game, while keeping a balanced life outside of it, tailored to each person on the team.
I have over 6,200 hours in Rocket League and peaked at GC1. Rocket League is my favourite game, but I've started coaching Valorant and I've enjoyed coaching rock climbing too. Turns out I'm good at coaching anything I put my mind to.
My way is not
the highway.
I don't coach an autocratic style. I coach perspective, so you keep your creativity and play your game, better.
Tailored to you
No two players get the same plan. We start with your goal, your rank and how you like to play, and build from there.
Perspective, not prescription
I show you what I see and why it matters. You decide how it fits your style. That keeps your creativity in your gameplay.
Pattern recognition
My strength is spotting the things people don't normally see: the habit that keeps losing you kickoffs, the rotation that leaves you exposed.
The mental game
Controlling emotions mid-game, resetting after a bad goal, and keeping a balanced life outside the screen. It's half the battle.
Where I've
coached.
The house
rules.
Three things I ask of every player. That's it.
Know your goal
Have an idea of what you want from the game: competitive tournament player, sweaty competitive player or general comfort player.
Bring questions
Come with an attitude that's open to discussion and ask anything. I don't bite!
(unless you use a topper)Be ready to laugh
We all make mistakes. We'll own them and take a positive step forward, so they turn into "remember when..." stories.
See ya guys soon.
Let's work together. Book your first session and bring your questions.
